A busy weekend

A busy weekend

This has been a busy weekend for the Sewards crew, there has been some winter work started on Victoria and a lovely evening out at a fireworks event with Lady.

Victoria is due for her 10 year hydraulic test so work has begun on her. This is the first time we have done this after buying Victoria 10 years ago when Peter had done the test for us before we brought her so we feel as though we are getting to know her a little bit more. It’s always nice to uncover bits you haven’t seen before on her or the wagon.

There was a deal that had been done between Wendy and Lloyd before this work was meant to of been started on Victoria and that was that we would have 2 new bathrooms fitted in the house before work was to be started on Victoria but it looks like Victoria and Lloyd have won as we still have no new bathrooms!!!

Here are a few pictures of the removal of Victoria’s lagging sheets and lagging.

We also this weekend had been invited to Greatham Bonfire and Firework event held 28th October just a few miles down the road from where Lady lives so we went along and had a most enjoyable evening. Lots of people , the weather wasn’t to bad, a bit of rain but we stayed nice and dry on Lady’s footplate. After it wass all over we had a nice truddle in the dark back home where she is now parked up. Shortly Lady will be drained out and wrapped up for the winter….

Here are a few pictures of Lady at Greatham fireworks event.
