Whats been happening over the last few weeks

Thought that we would just put a blog on here to tell you what we have been up to. Well then season has come to an end and after a busy few months (July, August, September) winter is coming upon us and jobs are starting to be carried out.

October was the last time we took the engines out, “Lady Pride of England” went to a couple of the fairground at night events at Hollycombe, Liphook in Hampshire and “Victoria” was going to go to Singleton Weald and Downland Musuem near Chichester, West Sussex to their Autumn Fair Weekend but their threshing machine had broken so we weren’t required. It was decided we would take “Victoria” to Hollycombe to another one of their Fairground at night events.

Now the time has come for engines to be put away for the winter and the work is starting, “Lady” will be having a few minor repair shortly, we will post picture when the work is being carried out. She is also due for her hydraulic test so we have started to take bits off ready for her test.

Victoria is still full of water, we are hoping the weather is going to stay mild for a few more weeks as we have to take her out to our village (Liss, Hampshire) late night christmas shopping on the 7th December.

We are also starting to think about our gathering in 2012, as soon as we have any news it will be posted here so keep an eye out and for those that have been before your entry forms will hopefully be dropping through your door some time in January.
