Basingstoke Festival of Transport 8th May 2011

Another Sunday so another event I think…

This week we took a trip to the Basingstoke Festival of Transport which is held in The War Memorial Park in Basingstoke and the event is put on by The Thornycroft Society. There is always a good selection of vehicles on show ranging from motorbikes, stationary engines, tractors, cars, buses, military and commercial vehicles. This year there were also a couple of Advance Rollers one (the red one) is keep just a few miles up the road at The Milestones Musuem. This event is free admission and is well worth a visit, put it in your dairy for next year….
