Lords Farm

The Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May was once again a trip to a local event in Petersfield. It’s now in its 13th year and as always there was a good selection of things to see. The owner of the farmyard opens up his gates and for a small entry fee, which goes to a local charity each year, the public get to see all manors of things; tractors, vintage cars, Lorries, lawn mowers, and a lot more besides.

Also, it’s a good place to have a chat to local people about the history of Petersfield and the surrounding areas, which for us is always good.

It had rained for much of the week before this event and we were hoping that this wouldn’t put people off and of course it didn’t. The ground had dried luckily for us so we had a nice spot just inside the field with all the vintage vehicles.

It’s a lovely event with lost of great things to look at and many people to talk to but before you know where you are it’s time to pack up and head off down the A3 towards Liss and home.
