May has been a bit of a disappointment so far with 2 of our events that we were attending with Victoria cancelled due to the weather but that didn’t stop us from taking her out.
On the bank holiday weekend (7th) we were booked in to go to a village fete at East Meon in Hampshire which is about 8 miles from home but sadly this was cancelled so instead we steamed her up on the Sunday and chuff down to an event in our local town of Petersfield Hampshire. So we did get to take Victoria out after all.
This weekend (12th & 13th) we were meant to be at The Bill Targett Rally near Winchester but again it was cancelled due to weather and ground conditions but we made good use of the time and the sunny weather and decided to paint the rear wheels of our wagon.
As for Lady Pride of England things are looking good, we are waiting on a couple of jobs to be done then she will have her steam test and she will be back on the road again. Lady first event of the year we are hoping will be on 4th June so fingers crossed….
