Heading into Autumn

Balls Cross sunset with Tor and Albert

As we head into autumn we look forward to our last few events of the year, as I write this Victoria is away having her brake drum repaired, she has lost a few bolts out of it and sheared them off, there should be 7 holding it on and we were down to 4! So we thought we ought to get it fixed, that is in the process as we speak and this weekend we are hoping to get out on the road with her for a road run and probably a trip back to Amberley. We are at Amberley on 6th October for their Autumn Gathering, where they have plenty of visiting vehicles, from engines, cars, commercials and tractors so plenty to see. We are hoping to have all 3 of our engines out for this event, it will be nice to see them all out together again.

We then head towards Halloween where we will be at Amberley for their scary night, this is on the 26th October, a great night of ghost and scares! I’m sure we will have an engine or two out for this event.

Then we will be thinking about bringing Victoria back to Hampshire and maybe the Foden; Albert will stay at Amberley over the winter where we hope we will be able to steam him up for their Christmas events through December (weather permitting of course).

And we look forward to maybe having a couple of runs out with Victoria over the warmer winter months if the weather isn’t too cold. As we head into next year our thoughts will then turn to 2025 season, we would like to take Victoria and Albert to a few new events next year so if you think anyone would like us at their event then please do send us an email.

Here are a few pictures from over the last few months – enjoy, and we will see you next time.
