Victoria had a busy few weeks

After the excitement of the wedding Victoria attended in May we have still been busy busy, the bank holiday weekend in May Victoria supported a local charity event at Lords Farm in Petersfield, it was a lovely warm day and a great way to start the season with her. The following day it was off to Petersfield town centre where there the streets were closed and the town was full of cars, stalls, food stalls and a bar. We had a cracking day and we were also joined by Victoria’s old friend “Lady Pride of England” and a little 3″ Fowler traction engine.

The first weekend in June was Wendy’s birthday so we steam up Victoria and hitched our trailer on the back and off to the pub for lunch and much fun, this is Wendy’s favorite thing to do and all our passengers seem to enjoy themselves too…

Then the following weekend was the Queens 90th birthday celebrations and we attended a street party in Greatham, the next village up the road from us. Again here Victoria was joined by Lady and her other friend Aveling and Porter roller “Roslyn”. Although the day started cloudy and was drizzling it soon stopped and turned out to be a lovely dry afternoon.

This weekend just gone we should of been at the Dene Rally but due to the weather stopping our plans on Thursday to take Victoria and Living van to the field we ran out of time as sadly Friday we were very busy with meetings and appointments but we did take the tractor over Friday evening and although it was odd being without Victoria we had a nice weekend.

Now we are looking forward to Kingsley on 16th & 17th July, hope to see you there….
