We had a great road run to the pub for lunch over the weekend, we were joined by Burrell “Lady Pride of England”, The Russell’s Foden Wagon and the lovely Williams of Bordon FWD lorry. It was a great way to spend a few hours with friends.

We all set off from Greatham and made our way to Liss, steamed through the village centre and on up Hill Brow, because the Foden is so much quicker than us that waited at the Jolly Drover pub were we were hoping to be joined by another wagon but unfortunately they had a problem and couldn’t make the run. We went on into Petersfield and headed towards the Winchester Road (A272). Just a mile or so along there we pulled into the Seven Stars pub where we had a lovely lunch and a catch up with friends we hadn’t seen for nearly 2 years! After a couple of hours eating and chatting we went on the return journey, the weather was great, warm and sunny so it was a prefect day.

It was great, we had the trailer on the back of Victoria so a few friends came along for the jolly too.

Looking forward to the next trip….
