Help Request

A friend of ours who knew the Seward family very well and spent many hours with them has asked us to add this request to our website just in case anyone has the answer for him, please read the request below…

“This is a bit of a long shot. I knew Jim Seward very well, he lived at Maybury, Tilmore road. When I knew him he had a housekeeper, as I used to go for tea there sometimes. I am trying to remember her name, she was a Mrs ? This would be late fifties, and up to Jim’s death in 1969. He had the yard in Chapel Street, Petersfield, with the traction engines housed inside.”
